Pink Hair. Everyone’s doing it. Take former Disney princess Bella Thorne, who, in what appeared to be a classic moment of teenage angst, dyed her long flaxen locks a very neon shade of raspberry (which has most recently faded down to a brazen cherry balayage).

Then everywhere girl, Gigi Hadid, who last week posted a photo to Instagram with a fuchsia dip-dyed high ponytail (Faber-Castell Pink 48, if you’re wondering). Whilst the texta-strands weren’t our favourite look (and an evident throwback to Donatella’s Fall 17 highlighter heroines), it was pink in all sense of the colour.

Even Emily Rata spun her own fairy-floss, baring all (surprise, surprise) on Instagram with a bubble-gum wig masking her typically lush brown locks (which, actually was a surprise).

Then most recently, the chameleonic Cara, whose hair seemingly shifts gears more than Taylor Swift’s love life, also went pink. In what appeared to be semi-permanent kind of job, Cara’s crop was coloured a frosty pink, almost the kind of shade we desire our Rosé to be (crisp, light and dry), with that washed smoky white still palpable from the roots. It was a futuristic finish to another sartorially galactic choice (this time courtesy of Atelier Versace), and indeed the glacé cherry atop the very pink, frosted cake.

With Hollywood presenting an indubitable case for the pink lady, we’re thinking a trip to the hairdresser instead of the ice-cream parlour for this strawberry soft-serve.
