If your neck is still feeling the whiplash after watching The Weeknd’s lightning fast move from Bella Hadid to Selena Gomez, you’re not alone. It seemed like one day they were seen kissing behind an LA restaurant, the next they were off to Italy.
And music’s newest It couple are showing no signs of slowing down, after The Weeknd, real name Abel Tesfaye, took Gomez with him to meet the newborn baby of his manager Wassim “SAL” Slaiby this weeknd.
Slaiby posted a photo collage on Instagram of the many visitors he and his wife had after welcoming their child, and low and behold in the top left is Selena, cradling the bub in her arms.
The fact the Tesfaye took Selena to such a personal and important event indicates these two are even more serious than most us realised. Now all they need to do is make their all-important public debut as a couple, which they’re rumoured to be doing at the Grammys later this month, and we’ll feel fully comfortable committing to using their celebrity couple name amalgam, Abelena. We also like Welena, though.
