Margot Robbie is back in the 2019 Oscars race after earning a SAG Award nomination for Mary, Queen of Scots.

The Australian star missed out on a Golden Globe or Critics’ Choice nomination this year, so the recognition for her performance in the period drama has come just in time.

Robbie is nominated in the Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role for her portrayal of Queen Elizabeth 1 opposite Saorsie Ronan.

Margot is representing Australia at the 2019 SAGs, since Nicole Kidman, Hugh Jackman and Toni Collette were snubbed despite hopes they’d be nominated.

The 25th Annual SAG Awards ceremony will be held on January 27.
