Those attending Coachella in the California desert this weekend could be lucky enough to witness an iconic music moment: a Destiny’s Child reunion.

Beyonce is set to take the stage at the music festival at 11pm Saturday (Sunday 4pm AEST), and Page Six reports she’ll be joined by surprise guests Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams.

“Beyonce and Destiny’s Child are reuniting,” claimed the source. “It was teased, rumored, squashed, so nothing much else was said . . . But it’s happening.”

The insider said Queen Bey wanted “to make up for the fact she was unable to perform last year,” when she was pregnant with twins Rumi and Sir.

“The girls really wanted it and felt they owed it to the fans.”

Last year was the 20th anniversary of Destiny Child forming as a band, and with the global girl power movement happening right now, there’s no better time to see the trio back together performing empowering hits like Bills, Bills, Bills and Survivor.

The fan response was passionate when the band reformed for one night only at the Super Bowl in 2013, when Rowland and Williams joined Queen Bey on stage at the half-time performance.

Jumpin’ Jumpin’SurvivorBootylicious and Say My Name could all be on the tracklist for Beyonce’s Coachella performance – we can only hope.
