Model industry superstar Adwoa Aboah has wasted no time in Burberry-cladding her life since teaming up with the luxury fashion house as artistic director of an unusual new campaign series.
The activist and 2017 model of the year (voted by industry body Models.com) has been regularly snapped in pieces from the Brit brand’s latest collections while out and about over past weeks – including this signature rainbow puffer vest from Christopher Bailey’s final collection.

And it seems for the latest installation of her image series with fashion photographer Juergen Teller, the London-born 25-year-old has Burberry-clad her closest friends and family too.
Adwoa stars in the snaps with her model and makeup artist sister Kesewa Aboah and closest friends, model Jean Campbell, film-maker Jonah Freud, photographer Riccardo Ambrosio and model Oli Green.
“I have known Adwoa since I was five when we used to play dolphins on the sofa,” says Cambell of her friend whose family are English gentry and openly admits to having battled depression and drug addiction in the past.
“Her sensitivity means that she has a deeper understanding of others and she has a great sense of humour so we always have fun.”

“New York is my second home,” says Aboah of the Manhattan shoot location. “I have made a nest here and created a community of the bestest friends in the world. Most of them are Londoners on a rite of passage, living away from home for the first time.
“New York is exciting, offering something day and night. It has skylines that go on forever, intimidating and suffocating but always beautiful and never boring.”
