Given how closely GRAZIA soaks up every visual detail when we watch Australian designers on the overseas runways, we really should have seen this one coming.

London-born, Australian stylist-turned-designer Alice McCall today announced her eponymous fashion label will soon drop its first accessories collection, starting with the five stand-out shoe styles she showcased at her Autumn/Winter 2018 New York Fashion Week show back in February.

Described by the creator as “Modern Baroque” the Italian-made collection of high-heeled pumps and boots will drop on the brand’s online store and in selected Alice McCall stores in the week starting July 16. In the following month, matching bag and belt ranges (plus a luxe belt bag style that’s a combination of the two) will be rolled out as well.

In September, the accessories styled into the Alice McCall Resort 2019 show at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia will be available to shop too. Refresh you memory here: sexy double-buckled Mary Jane pumps, stilettos with ankle-ribbon ties, bondage-style wide waist belts in pretty lavender, round floral cases on cross-body straps and those aforementioned clip on belt purses again.

“The Alice McCall brand is synonymous with spunk, and this range shouts it in spades,” says the official press release that announced today’s shoe launch. One look at the thigh-high lavender boots below, and we can’t help but agree. Prices of the first shoe drop will range from $790 to $1590.
