We’re three weeks into the new year (holiday! what holiday?) and the beach glow is fading, but here’s one way you can always keep a little of that party spirit close: in your wardrobe.

On that note, we couldn’t have asked for a better time for perennial GRAZIA favourite Alice McCall – that little Aussie label with a lotta megastar clout – to fire its new-season lookbook into our in-boxes.

Think Charlie’s Angels on their way to Studio 64 in its Bianca Jagger hey-day: bell-bottom denim, sequinned bustiers, lame flares, drop-waist ruched dresses, fish-tail skirts and sexy satin slip dresses, some with cheeky feathered hems. The predominant hue dotted throughout: electric blue.

There’s even a touch of throwback ’80s kitsch in the form of tiered mini-skirts and see-through lace maxis.

Our favourite look? Hard to choose, but probably the cropped blue jacket with feathered sleeves and matching high-waisted micro-shorts. Not something you’d wear to Saturday brunch unless you were Beyoncé, but fabulous nonetheless.

Given the megastar’s been oft snapped wearing the Australian label in the recent past, we might just see it happen for reals. Beyoncé style-crushing is always cheap cure for the January blues.
