Alicia Vikander and Michael Fassbender married in a secret ceremony while on vacation in Ibiza over the weekend, a source has confirmed to People.

The report comes as the Daily Mail published photos showing the actor couple wearing bands on their wedding fingers, surrounded by a large gathering of friends and family on the Spanish island.

The insider said Alicia and Michael were wed at the luxurious La Granja Farmhouse resort, a secluded, five-star designer property set on 10 acres that sleeps 18 people and costs around AUD $30,000 for a three-night stay.

Assassin’s Creed star Fassbender, 40, and Tomb Raider actress Vikander, 29, met while playing a husband and wife in The Light Between Two Oceans.

They soon began dating but then took a break, reportedly due to work commitments keeping them apart. However, a kiss at the 2016 Oscars as she accepted the award for Best Actress for The Danish Girl indicated things were back on track.

The couple are known to be particularly private, rarely speaking publicly about their relationship. “I think we’ve made a clear statement that we keep certain things just between us,” Vikander told Entertainment Weekly last year.

“It was very easy to unite, but that’s quite personal.”

In an interview with Porter magazine last year, Alicia said:

“We’ve never hidden the fact we’re a couple… he’s extremely hard-working.”

Congratulations to the Vikander-Fassbenders. If Alicia decides to adopt a double-barreled surname, it’s going to be quite the mouthful.
