As we say farewell to the fun and the crazy of Coachella, we round up the best celebrity makeup looks spotted between the pools and the palms. From bright blues to rich reds, we’ve seen all the colours of a Cali sunset on the lids and liners of our favourite festival-goers. Keeping in Coachella tradition, there has been every kind of glitter, jewel and sparkle in place of trusty highlighter and blush.

Here, our favourite five glitter queens…

Beyoncé
Queen B has officially made Coachella history – all while wearing head-to-toe custom Balmain. Topped with a crown fit for a queen, Yoncé kept things glittery with a lid you could see from the back of the crowd and paid homage to Destiny’s Child with the shine of an iridescent ’90s lip. We’ll see you next year for Beychella, B.

Rihanna
Leave it up to Rihanna to wear a ski mask in the middle of the Californian desert and make it look cool. Even with her totally on-point, off-season accessory, there’s no question that it’s Riri under there. Who else could pull off bling like that? From lid to lobe, rings to wrist, Rihanna takes the glitter trend to the next level.

Ariana Grande
Running high on the hype of her new single No Tears Left To Cry, Grande’s surprise performance at Coachella came with an even more impressive surprise: lavender hair and makeup to match. Keeping to her classic look with that super-sharp liner, she plays with the bedazzled trend in true Grande fashion, subtle and sweet.

Taylor Hill
Bedazzled to the max, you could most likely spot this angel from heaven… or from across the valley, at least. Keeping her brows groomed and makeup minimal, this bejewelled beauty forgets the highlighter and reaches for the diamantés instead to achieve a festive glow.

Paris Jackson
One of the standout celeb guests at Dior’s Pre-Coachella Party for Dior Sauvage, Jackson’s bold white and deep wine liner looked stunning against her icy-blue eyes. Using all Dior products, of course, Jackson’s makeup artist Jo Baker called this look the ‘Couture Cartoon Colour Block Cat Eye’.
