The first half of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week 2018 came and went in the blink of an eye, but who better to give us her expert summary of the best part of Day Two than GRAZIA Fashion Director Aileen Marr?

During the fleeting moments she wasn’t dashing between shows or being snapped by street style paparazzi, she shared with us her favourite moments from the day and her thoughts on the best looks straight from the runway. Here’s what caught the career stylist’s eagle eye.

Which show had your favourite styling today? “I think I would have to say Lee Mathews. The mixing of gingham and floral fabrics gave it a total garden-gathering look.”

What about colour? which show had the best palette? Albus Lumen – neutral desert tones have never looked so cool. The simplicity of the designs left me yearning for a Georgia O’Keefe interior and of course, I must own one of those kerchief headscarves.”

Which show’s Values and brand message resonated with you most? Karla Spectic really inspired me with her show’s message. She showed us how we can love fashion in an environmentally responsible manner which was really cool. Recycle your bubble wrap into a trench coat. Here’s to sustainable fashion.”
