Given the best thing to come out of last week’s American Presidential debacle was that white Ralph Lauren jumpsuit on the soon-to-be First Lady, it comes as little surprise styling in white was top of mind for a large percentage of stylish guests at last weekend’s Land Rover Polo in the City, Sydney.

It was a case of ‘a little Hamptons in Centennial Park’ as dozens of the most stylish women in the New South Wales capital turned up in head-to-toe white outfits, off set with chic straw hats and large sunglasses to ward off the unseasonably humid 35C day.

There’s plenty to love about this ‘other’ champagne-fuelled spring horse sport: style is a high priority, but outfits are far more relaxed. Shoes tend and headwear tend on the more practical side too.

In collision of multiple trends, there were plenty of bared shoulders, eyelet cut-outs and pant suits in the hue of the day. If there had been a best-dressed trophy on the day, two guests in GRAZIA’s opinion would have battled for it.

The first: Gritty Pretty founder Eleanor Pendleton in a simple long sleeve, long skirt two-piece with burned-out fabric stripes and frayed edges. The second: E! Australia host Ksenija Lukich, who wore a white Zimmerman jumpsuit offset with black sash belt and strappy Sol Sana sandals.
