Victoria’s Secret 2018
Novelty knits and cartoon kitsch have been crowd-pleasing trends in the luxury fashion world this year, especially on the runway. Hello Kitty has seized the spotlight making appearances with Furla and Puma, not to mention Coach’s Dark Fairy Tale collection with Disney.

Virgil Abloh’s debut with Louis Vuitton showcasing garments printed with imagery from The Wizard of Oz and it diddly-doodly doesn’t stop there. After two sell-out, in-house collections starring Hello Kitty, online fashion retailer ASOS has announced a new collaboration of streetwear with the world’s favourite yellow family.
After all, what could scream ‘pop culture kitsch’ quite like a naff Simpsons-themed collection?
The company’s latest drop is inspired by ’90s party culture and features more than 30 pieces dedicated to Springfield’s most hilarious characters, plus the beloved Kwik-E-Mart, Duff beer logos and signature clouds from the opening sequence.
Items on offer include tees, button-ups, knits, denim, swimwear and a plethora of 90’s accessories; think bum bag, bucket hats and long socks. The affordable range comes in regular ready-to-wear sizes, as well as ASOS Curve and Plus.
The Simpson’s x ASOS collaboration will launch as the iconic show prepares to premiere its 30th season this spring, making it the longest-running scripted series in TV history. To quote Mister Burns, it’s magnificently, embarrassingly exxcellent.
The range will be available HERE from Thursday, August 23, 2018.
