It’s safe to say Mon Purse is showing no sign of slowing down its mission for global domination. The popular Australian accessories label best known for its fun initialling offering and capsule collection collaborations with Jodi Anasta has just nabbed a coveted deal with Selfridges in its London and Manchester spaces.

The news is made even more sweet by the fact this is the first time the up-market UK department store has offered a concession partnership with an Aussie brand. Come December 15, Mon Purse is also set to open inside Bloomingdales on 59th Street in New York City for expats based in those locations too.

As existing fans will already know, the label claims to fuse innovation with quality with a ‘curate your essentials’ element, meaning customers can monogram, customise and design their own bespoke pouches, cosmetic bags, iPhone cases and passport holders.

Just as with its Australian retail outlets, there will be live customisation services at the global department stores (also available online at Mon Purse) for on-spot embellishments. But if you’re not feeling any creative flair or would rather by off-peg without initialling, Mon Purse also sells unmarked ready to wear pieces.

The customisation process uses 3D bag builder technology, which creates each bag in its complete customised silhouette. Due to the array of leather colours, texture, interior lining, hardware and finishes, there are over six million combinations – so there’s no need to fret about rocking up to a soiree with the same arm candy as another accessories addict.
