Azealia Banks isn’t backing down on the allegations she made against Russell Crowe, and has demanded the Australian actor make a public apology to her.

The rapper has also elaborated on what she claims happened between herself and the actor in his suite at the Beverly Hills Hotel on Sunday night, speaking to E News!.

The 212 artist first made the accusations in a since-deleted Facebook post hours after the incident, claiming Crowe “called me a n****r, choked me, threw me out and spat at me.”

TMZ reported that other guests at the party claim it was Banks who started the trouble and Crowe was merely protecting himself and others after she allegedly threatened to break her glass and stab other guests in the throat.

But in her new comments, Banks has refuted these claims, saying that some jokes turned sour and a woman at the party became aggressive with her.

“[I told her] ‘This is not how this is going to go,’” she explained.

“I said, ‘If I throw something at you and you get hurt, then the party is going to be done. Then we’re all going to look bad and it’s going to be a terrible night.'”

She says it was at this point Crowe whispered in her ear, “Even if you tried, you wouldn’t even get close enough, you n*****”.

“Next thing you know, I’m getting choked, I’m getting dragged out of this room and spat on. I felt betrayed, I felt humiliated, I felt low. It almost felt like a set-up.”

Banks has filed a police report about the incident, and she now wants Crowe to make a public apology.

I would like him to apologise to me publicly now because [he] went to TMZ, [like an] idiot,” she claimed, although Crowe did not speak to TMZ on the record.

“He doesn’t get it. He thinks I’m just some little black girl from Harlem that doesn’t have any backing. They think they can just frame me.”

The Gladiator actor is yet to officially respond to the claims, although he retweeted TMZ’s story about the incident that had been reported in his favour.
