Galactic Pink

Tom goes back to the future with a metallic spin on an old favourite; the pink lip gets fancy. Sweet with a space-age twist, it fuses a creamy cotton candy with a foiled finish. For the beauty brave (and the girl who loves a little colour) this is highlighting but not as you know it; it’s more than a highlight, it’s an accessory. With cool colours like pink and fuchsia, always opt for a silver tone. For warmer colours like a rich red or orange, choose gold, whilst nude and champagne call for a rose gold.

To achieve this look it’s all in the meticulous articulation of the metallic peak. Use an angled eyeshadow brush and carefully follow the natural outline of the Cupid’s bow, where you would typically place highlighter. On the downhill slope, take the silvery shade from the Eye Colour Quad down either side of the lip, and taper. The trick? Add water. A gentle splash of water on the brush intensifies the shade making it molten-esque. A lick of Tom Ford Lilac Nymph, and this iridescent accent shines. Part-fembot, part school-girl, silver has never looked so good.
