Bella Hadid has always been the brunette bombshell and Gigi the blonde Malibu barbie, but the model sisters have now traded places. In a recent Instagram upload, Bella has shown off her blondest hair ever – a sun-bleached shade of gold that looks like summer.
Over the last few months, the youngest Hadid has been lightening up her dark hair to a hue that’s closer to her natural shade, but now has she officially out-blonded Gigi, who’s moved toward a more natural darker ‘bronde’ (a brunette-blonde hybrid, for those who don’t know).
The new do certainly suits Bella, however it’s pretty tough to imagine her looking anything less than perfect. It’s also a fresh take on blonde, given her warm, almost brassy shade is a far cry from the platinum, ashy colours that have been trending. Bella is actually light-haired naturally, so it makes sense she’s decided to mix it up and go back to her roots.
If blonde hair is on your agenda, be sure to incorporate a few nourishing hair treatments into your arsenal to offset the harsh lightening process. See our top picks below.
