As her many #tbt Instagram posts will attest, Bella Hadid was born a blonde. Dying her hair brunette before breaking into the industry, Bella quickly differentiated herself from her golden blonde sister Gigi and has owned her richer, sexier hair hue ever since (save for a few subtle changes, of course) However while Gigi was pioneering the chunky plait at yesterday’s MMVA’s, her little sister Bella was making a not-so stealth hair shift of her very own on the other side of the world.

Via Instagram Bella revealed new punky platinum blonde hair, washed through with an ombre, pink pastel tint. Part bad girl, part bubblegum, Bella’s lightened hair had her looking more like an edgier version of her Cali-blonde big sister than ever.

On-set in London Hadid tagged in hair legend Sam McKnight and renowned make-up artist, Val Garland, saying, “Two brilliant minds! Love u both!” While her mane transformation might be the work of a wig for a photo shoot, and Dior might have her under some strict stay-brunette restrictions, we are really hoping that Hadid’s cool and laid-back hair is here to stay.
