Before flying to Sydney earlier this month to star in the Misha Collection Resort 2017 runway show at MBFWA (and deciphering Australian slang with GRAZIA while she was in town) rumours were also flying around Bella Hadid. Following her attendance at the Dior dinner at La Colle Noire in Grasse a few days before, where Hadid was clad in the label and flanked by current ambassador for the house, Charlize Theron, suspicions quickly arose that the model-of-the-moment was set to parter with the house.

And as it turns out, the suspicions were valid.  Set to walk in the Cruise 2017 presentation Blenheim Palace in just a matter of hours, the house has just announced that Hadid is the new make-up ambassador for Dior.

A huge coup for both parties, this marks the first beauty contract for the younger Hadid sister (and a professional step away from Gigi, who is an ambassador for Maybelline NY) who joins Theron, Natalie Portman and fellow model Camille Rowe as Dior beauty ambassadors.

We can’t help but notice that Dior totally have a type too – Hadid’s celebrity doppelgänger Jennifer Lawrence has been a face Dior couture and beauty since her first print campaign in 2013.

The resemblance between the two is uncanny and not lost on Hadid who admitted to Fashionista last year that even she cops the comparison: “Multiple times a day. Probably today it’s already happened like five times.”

The announcement comes with news that Hadid will also star in a web series of make-up videos, with Peter Philips, Creative and Image Director for Dior Make-up.

“Dior make-up live with Bella Hadid” will be released in June 6th.
