1. Lutz Huelle: unexpectedly glamorous hybrid streetwear.

The lowdown French master of hybrid glamour (an extension of the Vetements revolution). Crafting a name for himself in the art of transformative outerwear, to wit: satin bombers with contrasting panels, denim coated in crepe and gold sequins and elongated sports jersey. Huelle injects a bit of the unexpected into everyday pieces.

Who would wear it We can see Rihanna serving street realness in his elegantly mutated denim and sequin pieces.

2. Julien David: fruity yet street-smart basics.

The lowdown A Tokyo-based Frenchman who infuses cartoonish humour into street-smart pieces. His AW16 collection comprised reworked basics with larger-than-life details and padded or stitched together to reveal seams and structure. We love the manga cartoon-print jacket and pleat skirt for a fruity spin on workwear.

Who would wear it Chic bespectacled street style maven Veronique Tristam, who doesn’t shy away from colour and volume. We can see her in David’s silvery aluminium pleather.
