Whether Beyonce is an avid GRAZIA Australia reader or we just share the same taste in fabulous Aussie-made fashion, we were excited for plenty of reasons to see the singer snapped in a stunning blue Alice McCall jumpsuit on the weekend.

We featured the same Young Hearts Run Free romper in our Shoe’s The Boss fashion shoot styled by fashion director Charlotte Stokes with some seemingly made-to-measure Sophia Webster Lacey Oceania stilettos way back in August.

Maybe Bey’s had it in mind since then, but on Friday night it had its first public outing when the most famous woman in the world wore it with blue stilettos, her now-signature ankle chain and a high pony for Friday out at No Name nightclub in Los Angeles.

No small feat for relatively small private Australian label that’s much loved here, but not a giant player on the international league – yet.

“I was in Dubai when I saw the images,” McCall told GRAZIA. “It was a bit of a pinch me moment. Beyoncé is one of the most influential celebrities today, I love everything she embodies – her music, her style, her creative energy. We sent the product a couple of weeks ago, so I was obviously hoping to see her wearing something, but for it to actually happen is beyond amazing.”

According to the McCall camp, Beyonce’s stylist Zerina Akers contacted the label via Instagram message requesting a set of outfits as options for the star’s up-coming shoots and video clips. While the blue romper wasn’t amongst the request list, McCall threw it in last minute and just as well given the it practically sold out worldwide within hours of her wearing it surfaced.

But here’s the good news: SHOPBOP still has a small number of the style left at $423 for those who hurry. The Shell Pink and white version of the same romper is also available on the Alice McCall site for $360.

Otherwise, another similar option is the appropriately-named Memphis dress that sports the same perky blue botanical print Knowles clearly loves. Did McCall have the Southern-born star in mind when she named it? It’s hot sauce either way.
