What’s the most fun job you’ve ever done? Definitely getting flown to the Maldives for a tourism campaign called Hello World Travel.

Who or what’s your type? I’m really varied. All of my previous partners have been completely different actually. Personality is incredibly important long term but as long as I’m attracted to them, that’s all that matters.

Can you tell us something that would surprise us about you? People are still learning that I am a classically trained singer at the Conservatorium. When I was younger it was my dream to star on Broadway.

BEST PICK UP LINE YOU’VE EVER HEARD? “Hey are you okay? Did it hurt when you fell from heaven?” Oh god… cringe.

Who is your best friend? I have a group of really close friends, there is four of them. We talk on a daily basis and of course I’m close with my boyfriend too.

Top of your fashion wish-list for this season? The new Dior handbag The Diorama. In rose gold would be amazing.

What’s your answer when someone asks what you do for a living? My friends call me a professional “slashie” but I would say I’m a singer and presenter.

WHAT’S THE MOST TERRIFYING JOB YOU’VE EVER DONE? I trekked Kokoda for Papua New Guinea Tourism and it was the most physically and mentally challenging thing I’ve ever done, but so rewarding. Actually now I think back, the flight to Kokoda was the scariest.

Who do you miss the most when travelling? I miss my boyfriend – we have a long distance relationship so spending time together is hard anyway.

WHAT’S YOUR BEST SELFIE TIP? It’s all about the light. Front-on natural light – it gives your skin a flawless texture, no face tuning required.

What’s the biggest misconception about you? When you come from a competition such as Miss World, there is a misconception that you have very little to offer other than what you look like. I really hope people know that I have more to offer then that, including from my performing background.

WHAT’S YOUR BEST LONG-HAUL TRAVEL ADVICE? Be prepared. I always make sure I have all the entertainment, snacks and water that I need. I always over-pack for a flight.

When’s the last time you lost your temper? Earlier in the week when I had a fight with my boyfriend. I’m a very placid person normally but sometimes my family and boyfriend cop it.

What’s your dream handbag right now? An Hermes black and white crocodile Birkin.

WHAT’S YOUR BIGGEST STYLE FAIL TO DATE? Long platinum blonde hair from my pageant days. I look back on those and cringe.

WHAT’S YOUR BIGGEST EXTRAVAGANCE? My BMW car. I have a beautiful Z4 convertible and I still pinch myself that I have such a beautiful car.

What could you not live without? I can’t live without the important people in my life. No matter what happens, I’ll always be happy because I have great people around me. I wouldn’t be able to cope without them.

What from your past would you like to delete from the internet? A wardrobe malfunction photo that resurfaces from time to time. It was at a movie premiere and it still comes back to scare me.

What’s been your biggest life lesson so far? If you don’t believe in yourself, no one will. Having the courage to persevere when things aren’t going too well because you never know what might be around the corner. Particularly in this career.
