GOOD TIME RECEIVES STANDING OVATION
Critics are reporting Robert Pattinson’s film Good Time may have received the best reception at the festival so far. From sibling filmmakers Josh and Benny Safdie, Pattinson plays a small-time bank robber on a mission to break his brother out of a New York prison. As the credits rolled in Cannes, the audience were reportedly “screaming” with applause for six minutes. Will it be enough to win the festival? May 28 will reveal all.
NICOLE KIDMAN’s RED CARPET GAME
The plum lip coupled with the shimmying Michael Kors gown at the premiere of her Sophia Coppola-directed film The Beguiled (one of an incredible four films Kidman is in Cannes to promote), the actress kicked off a week of red carpet looks with critics dubbing the 49-year-old “Queen Of Cannes”. She wore Calvin Klein to the premiere of her controversial film The Killing Of A Sacred Deer (some critics predictably booed this title) only for Kidman to return to the carpet in a silver/gold Rodarte gown for the premiere of sci-fi romance How To Talk To Girls At Parties which also stars Elle Fanning. Special mention to the Armani dress on day seven. Oh, and her Chanel dress at the amfAR Gala.
BELLA HADID & JORDAN BARRETT
Cruising on a luxury yacht together, Jordan Barrett made certain we knew he was partying with Bella Hadid in two cryptic Instagram posts. While the younger sister of Gigi didn’t post anything, the headlines were already had. The Weeknd, you watchin’?

ALL THE SUPERMODELS AT THE amfAR Gala
As we near the end of this year’s Cannes Film Festival (read: the week where the most beautiful women in the world cluster together on the French Riviera, namely at Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc), this grey-carpeted gala could rival Emily Ratajkowski’s Peter Dundas jumpsuit creation from earlier in the week. In fact, it’s better. Take a look:
