Knightley stars in this second episode of “Chanel Beauty Talks,” a web series featuring casual conversations between beauty industry influencers and Lucia Pica, the house’s Global Creative Make-up Director and Colour Designer. The first instalment featured Gisele Bundchen discussing her signature bronzed glow.

Watch below for Knightley and Pica’s tips to creating a modern take on the 1930’s look, why she thinks smoky eyes always look better the day after and the story behind Knightley’s enviable eyebrows.

In the second clip Knightley shows us her eyebrow routine under the expert guidance of Pica who offers up her top tip: “You don’t have to create the shape so much, but just put colour through them.”

Since becoming the face of Coco Mademoiselle fragrance in 2007, Knightley has starred in countless beauty commercials for Chanel, however even she admits she is more accustomed to acting out the make-up moves, rather than actually applying it in for the camera. “I’m only used to doing it fake, I’m not actually used to really putting this on my eyebrows!” the actress giggles.
