Stars were actually tearing up witnessing Celine Dion perform Titanic’s anthem My Heart Will Go On at this year’s Billboard Music Awards. 2017 marks the 20th anniversary of the ballad which not only reached number one in several countries like Australia but earned an Oscar and Golden Globe for Best Original Song. The film’s soundtrack went to number one of the Billboard 200 chart and was named album of the year in 1998. But it was a fellow music icon who completely stole the night.

Proving she really can turn back time, Cher, who celebrated her 71st birthday across the weekend, performed her hits 1998’s Believe and 1989’s If I Could Turn Back Time in trademark sheer leotards. Speaking to the crowd she said, “I’ve wanted to do what I do since I was four years old and I’ve been doing it for 53 years. And this is not an applause thing, I’m 71 yesterday and I can do a five-minute plank, ok?”
