Oh, Chris Brown.
Your time has been and gone, Chris, and you went and screwed it up good and proper.
No puts RiRi in a corner, let alone hits her, and now that she’s dating Saudi billionaire Hassan Jameel, it’s fair to say she’s moved on to MUCH bigger and better things.
But when the pop star and fashion and beauty icon posted a saucy pic from her Savage x Fenty collection on her Instagram early on Friday morning, Brown thought that someone out there might care about his opinion.
Brown first posted the sheepish/embarrassed emoji, then wrote, “I wanna be the lamp” [referring to the lamp in her boudoir], with the smirking face.
And again, in case anyone missed it, another smirking face.
Rihanna’s fans were quick to jump down his throat.
“For what, so you can knock her lights out?” wrote one.
“GET A JOB” wrote another.
Brown and Rihanna dated for a year between 2008 and 2009. On February 8, 2009, he assaulted her, sending her to hospital with visible, brutal facial injuries. In April 2009, he pleaded not guilty to one count of assault and one count of making criminal threats. He was sentenced to 180 days of community service and five years of probation. They got back together briefly in 2013 and have collaborated on music since the incident, but her fans will never forget.
It’s not the first time he’s left thirsty comments on Rihanna’s Insta, either — he did the same thing when she posted another saucy pic last November.
Chris will soon become a father again as TMZ reported his ex-girlfriend, model Ammika Harris is pregnant with her first child and expecting a baby boy; he already has a five-year-old daughter, Royalty, with Nia Guzman, also a model.
As for Rihanna, well she’s thriving and while she keeps her relationship with Jameel out of the public eye, by all accounts they’re very happy.
Sorry, Chris.
