Less than 48 hours before a certain Hollywood actress (hint: she’s married to Thor) hosted a mother’s day lunch at the INXS penthouse suite at Ovolo Woolloomooloo with her best girlfriends (amongst them the delightful wife of ‘Jason Bourne’), Team GRAZIA gathered there for a far more fashion-centric purpose.

Ahead of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia 2018, Adelaide-based fashion label C/MEO COLLECTIVE set-up a home away from home in the split-level suite, then invited celebrities, top fashion bloggers and fashion editors to visit for a glass of champagne while they tried on pieces from the latest collection. Each then left with an outfit to wear to the brand’s runway show the following week.

It’s not surprising the room itself is a magnet for the famous and fabulous. (Pataky stayed there the night before the Camilla and Marc show, which opened fashion week.) As you walk through its front door, you can either turn right and walk past the giant hammock swing seat, past the stand-up bar to the loft-style lounge-room with high glass window overlooking the luxury marina outside.

Or you could turn right, venture up the stairs and find yourself in the mezzanine bedroom, complete with huge bulb-lit vanity table (the better for prepping your fashion week make-up in m’dear), and giant walk-in wardrobe leading to the coolest black and white tiled bathroom in Sydney. Oh, and there’s a bed if you want to skip the rock star antics and actually sleep in the INXS room too.

For a limited time only, guests can book the C/MEO Fashion Suite to soak up the inspired design and interior styling, sit back and enjoy the stunning city skyline views (we highly recommend the arm chair made of fabric resembling a plush cream teddy bear shown below) and enjoy a few fashion treats in the process.
