I’ve often wondered what Victoria Beckham thinks of Brooklyn’s girlfriend model Hana Cross. Beckham openly gushed about her son’s former girlfriend actress Chloe Grace Moretz and while the designer will throw a sporadic Instagram like Cross’ way every now and then, it doesn’t appear to be with the same love shared toward Moretz. And surely, the latest reports coming out of Cannes won’t make good in the Beckham household.
Cross – who shares a striking resemblance to a young Posh Spice – was seen “lashing out” at Beckham during an intense argument at the Cannes Film Festival last week. According to The Sun – so please take with a grain of salt – the pair had to separated by security and Brooklyn’s parents were alerted. “They were screaming and crying,” a source told the publication. Brooklyn has since made his Instagram account private.
The fiery argument is the latest in a spate of public rows and the Beckhams are reportedly “seriously frustrated” and concerned their 20-year-old son’s “toxic” relationship is damaging. Another report noted Brooklyn and 22-year-old Cross as having another argument at a restaurant inside their French hotel. “It was all very dramatic. They went to Cannes for a few days, but started bickering almost straight away,” a source told The Sun. “Hana struggles with Brooklyn’s fame and money, and all that comes with dating a Beckham. Brooklyn gets jealous easily, and didn’t enjoy all the male attention she was getting. “They had had a couple of drinks and started trading insults. They are both still young, so of course everything is very impassioned at that age. Things escalated quickly, and they were in each other’s faces, screaming and crying. Hana confronted Brooklyn and lashed out, and security waded in. David and Victoria were contacted and made aware of the incident. Not surprisingly, they are seriously worried about the couple’s toxic relationship and frustrated by all this humiliating public drama.”
It’s also been reported Brooklyn has refused to make Cross sign a non-disclosure agreement, much to his famous parent’s disappointment.
“[The Beckhams] want the best for their son,” a separate source told The Sun. “The Beckhams make nearly all employees and associates sign NDAs and they’ve asked that Hana sign one. But loyal Brooklyn refuses, and thinks it’s insulting.”
Without that document signed, we could know some very intimate details about the Beckhams – and very soon, should these public argument continue.
