Demi Lovato has been hospitalized for an alleged heroin overdose.
TMZ reports the 25-year-old was rushed to an LA hospital after overdosing on the drug at a Hollywood Hills home at lunchtime on Tuesday (AM Wednesday AEST).
Her condition is not known.
Lovato has been open about her struggles with addiction to alcohol, cocaine and prescription drugs.
Last month she released a song called Sober. In the lyrics, she confessed to no longer being sober after six years off alcohol and drugs.
The singer is currently touring the US, and has concert dates scheduled in Mexico and South America from September through November.
