Demi Lovato is clean and sober after almost dying of a drug overdose in July – and that’s all the singer wants the public to know, at least for now.

In a series of tweets overnight, the Sober singer appeared frustrated with stories about her in the media, or messages from fans asking about what happened to her that night.

“I would love to set the record straight on all the rumors out there but I literally don’t owe anyone anything so I’m not going to,” Lovato tweeted.
“All my fans need to know is I’m working hard on myself, I’m happy and clean and I’m SO grateful for their support.

“I’m so blessed I get to take this time to be with family, relax, work on my mind, body and soul and come back when I’m ready. I have my fans to thank for that. I’m so grateful, truly. I love you guys so f***ing much, thank you.”

Lovato, 26, was found unconscious at her Hollywood Hills home by her assistant back in July, hours after consuming a dangerous cocktail of illegal drugs.

Breaking her silence in August, the singer said she has “always been transparent about my journey with addiction.”

“What I’ve learned is that this illness is not something that disappears or fades with time. It is something I must continue to overcome and have not done yet.”

In October, Demi’s mother told media her daughter was 90 days sober.
