Meghan Markle is due to give birth to her first child with Prince Harry in April or early May. So far, the couple has managed to keep the baby’s gender a secret.

Until now. Well, maybe.

Serena Williams, one of Meghan’s closest friends, was giving a TV interview to E! News  overnight when she made some suspect remarks about a pregnant ‘friend’.

Asked for her best advice on motherhood, the Grand Slam tennis champion said:

“Accept mistakes and don’t expect to be perfect. We put so much pressure on ourselves.

“My friend is pregnant and she’s like, ‘Oh, my kid’s gonna do this,’ and I just looked at her and I was like, ‘No, she’s not. I’m like, ‘No, you’re not,’” she said.

Now, it’s entirely possible Serena was talking about another pregnant friend, not the Duchess of Sussex. But imagine – just imagine – if she was indeed talking about Meghan, and she unintentionally let the baby’s sex slip by saying “she”.

Time will tell, and we don’t have to wait long. Harry and Meghan just moved into their newly renovated Windsor mansion and are awaiting the arrival of Baby Sussex.
