It was only a matter of time, but for lovers of Dion Lee’s slick, architectural aesthetic, it couldn’t come soon enough.
The award-winning Australian designer, who is now based in New York, will launch his first range of footwear globally this September, called [Shoes].
Sticking to a simple black, white, tan and rd palette the predominantly boot-based line of flats and heels is as structured and simple as you’d expect, but each with a clever detail twist, whether that’s a curved heel or a laced coil window that exposes bare skin.

“[Shoes] is a natural extension for our brand and I am excited to be able to provide this new category for our customers,” says Lee. “When designing the collection, I focused on brand signature details, wearability and craftsmanship.”
The first range of [Shoes] will be priced between $600 and $1000 (Australian) and available from Dion Lee stores and other select retailers, as well as Farfetch and the brand’s own online store from September 2018.
