Rihanna and Drake’s recent electric on-stage chemistry has been fueling rumours that the long-time friends (and maybe former lovers) have been hooking up.
Now a curious move by Drake seems to indicate that he at least is interested in the stars being more than friends. He’s quite literally given Rihanna a big sign regarding his feelings by putting a message up on a billboard, congratulating the Work singer days before she receives the Video Vanguard award at the VMAs.
It seems Rih-rih got the message loud and clear, because she ‘grammed a photo of it and noted her approval in the caption: “When he extra”.

We’re not always sure what Rihanna is talking about (just try to interpret the lyrics to Work) but we’re fairly sure in this instance it means that Drake did good.
At a recent show the Hotline Bling rapper seemed even more enamoured with Rihanna than usual, calling her “the most beautiful, talented woman I’ve ever seen in my life”.
Rihanna, if you were waiting for a sign, this is it.
