Channel Uma Therman as Mia Wallace in Pulp Fiction – all you need is black liquid liner, red lips, and a faux bloody nose. Put on a white shirt, roll a fake cigarette, and pin hair under into a bon, and you’re laughing. Bonus points if you can source a wig.

This looks intimidating, but just take notes regarding placement of the black liner, contour, and gloss. Pair it with a red lip and big curls, and you’re done.

Kylie no doubt spent a year working on this Barbie look, but a candy coloured outfit and hyper-pink cheeks, eyes, and lips will emulate a similar vibe. More is more, so don’t be timid layering powders, gloss, and shimmer.

If you consider yourself a-ok in the makeup department, build out a sharp smokey eye, a deep contour, and bold lip like Sophie Turner meets Morticia Adams. A slinky black gown and black hair will finish it.

Use liquid or pencil liner to paint a spiders web around the eyes (or the entire face, if you’re game). The effect will be impressive enough so that no one will realise you pulled it together in less than an hour.
