It’s that time of the year again: the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. We’re currently in the very sweaty, clean-eating midst of the lead-up, where our Instagram feeds are saturated in green juice, uppercuts, ab crunches and model sweat, as the VS girls train and diet for their angelic life. Victoria’s Secret veteran, Swedish supermodel, Elsa Hosk, is a seasoned VS campaigner, and has revealed to W Magazine exactly what her beauty regime looks like in the lead-up to November’s show.
Firstly, skin; Elsa is a loyalist to one brand and one brand only, “Dr. Barbara Sturm anything.” Noted. For any model (or human being in general), SPF is pivotal to good skin health. Elsa divulges her SPF of choice, none other than Biotherm Sun Milk (a personal fave of ours, too).
When it comes to makeup, she swears by Laura Mercier’s Contour Kit for “creamy contour on my cheeks”, Dior concealer, “under eyes and around the nose /chin”, Bite Beauty Lip Mask and a Chanel Eyebrow Pencil. And her beauty secret weapon? “Koh Gen Do foundation, basically every top makeup artist’s secret weapon for serious coverage of skin problems.”
To keep her iconic flaxen locks in check, she uses Bamford shampoo and Conditioner in Geranium, “because the smell makes me so happy”, and goes in for the slick with Oribe Supershine Moisturizing Cream. Her trick? Squeeze on to half wet to half air-dry hair.
