If ever there was a model to teach us a lesson in glamour, it’s Emily Ratajkowski.
She of ample bosom and lip, is the modern day pin-up girl; curves in the right places, pillowy pout, come-hither eyes, she has all the hallmarks of a glamour girl.
Hung Vanngo also knows glamour innately, the man behind some of the sexiest faces in Hollywood, he is well-versed in the bold and brazen. So when Ratajkowski and Vanngo team up, we know it’s going to be good (and glamorous).
For “Halloween”, they did just that, serving us an epic bombshell beauty look which was sexed-up rather than spooky. A riff on Raquel Welch in One Million BC, it was the ultimate in va-va-voom: that perfectly dramatic winged line, the overdrawn nude lip and the hair – as bouffant and big as it comes.
Much like Welch’s bouffant, Ratajkowski’s bedhead came courtesy of celebrity hairstylist Jennifer Yepez; textured and tousled from the root, a Bardot-esque fringe added that final hit of sex appeal. Whilst Vanngo articulated a near-perfect flick – feline in shape and solid at the outer corner, it was worthy of iconic cat-eye status. But to truly speak bombshell, it all comes down to the pout. Taking Hollywood’s current preoccupation with lip liner to the next level, Vanngo overtly lined the entire lip with a darker shade of the creamy nude used on the centre. The result? A provocative pout; big, seductive and Siren-like.
