As Friday evening approaches, we know one Australian skincare brand that will be holding toasts all round for a good week in the office – Sukin. Today marks one week since Emma Watson launched new Instagram handle @the_press_tour to shine the spotlight on sustainable fashion and eco-friendly beauty – with Sukin applauded by the A-lister for its clean energy projects.

Shouting out to her 378K followers (yes, she’s gained that many despite having just nine posts and launching seven days ago), Watson revealed: “Skin prepped with @balancemebeauty Restore and Replenish Cream Cleanser, @sukinskincare Hydrating Mist Toner, and @paiskincare certified organic Rebalancing Day Cream and Gentle Eye Cream… Sukin are [sic] an Australian brand committed to offsetting their carbon emissions through a clean energy biomass project in India.”

Teaming the $10 chamomile and rosewater spritz with a 3.1 Phillip Lim suit and Burberry pumps, Watson proves that ethical, natural products are a valued commodity whichever shape, form, or price tag they may come.

And Sukin’s not the only Australian brand being blessed by the actress’ appraisal, with Watson also using the new account to draw attention to 100 per cent Australian-owned makeup brand Inika. Giving shout-outs to the brand on three different occasions, Watson reveals in one post: “Skin and lips are @inikaorganic, an Australian makeup brand that is certified organic, vegan, cruelty-free and halal. The products used are Organic Liquid Foundation, Lip Liner in Moroccan Rose, and Organic Lip & Cheek Cream in Rosehip.”

With Watson set to continue promoting sustainable brands for the duration of her press tour for Beauty and The Beast, @the_press_tour is set to bring a lot more awareness to the multitude of natural and organic brands available throughout the globe.
