Eva Mendes is giving the people what they want.
On Saturday Mendes must have been in the mood to share and reflect, because on Instagram she posted a rare throwback video of herself and husband Ryan Gosling.
The clip Mendes shared is from A Place Beyond The Pines, the 2013 Derek Cianfrance film where Ryan and Eva met and fell in love.

“Flashing back to one of my favorite scenes from A Place Beyond the Pines,” she captioned the video, which shows their characters, Romina and Luke, posing for a photo together with their baby boy.
Ryan and Eva have been together ever since and share two daughters, Esmerelda, four, and Amada, three.
Eva, 45, recently revealed that she did not want to have kids until she met Ryan.
“Ryan Gosling happened,” Mendes said. “I mean, falling in love with him. Then it made sense for me to have … not kids, but his kids. It was very specific to him.”
As for why Mendes decided to share the video, it was surely not a flippant decision. The couple is intensely private about their relationship; they rarely speak publicly about it, attend events together, pose for photos, or post anything on social media.
So what’s behind it? Perhaps there are plans for the couple to work together again. Mendes has taken somewhat of a hiatus from acting since having children. Now her daughters are four and three, maybe she’s ready to get in front of the camera again – and when your husband is Ryan Gosling, it only makes sense to work together.
