It’s late. Rose Byrne strides down an eerily under-lit railway tunnel, alone. She stops suddenly when something uncertain catches her eye. From behind her, a dramatic-looking stranger snatches her designer handbag during the distraction, disappearing down the curved tunnel before a series of dark events unfold.

Sounds like the intro from a dark movie thriller, but instead, it’s the premise of the latest campaign offering from iconic Australian label Oroton, helmed by esteemed Aussie director Ben Briand, who’s currently filming his first feature film starring Cara Delevingne.

It’s the first mini-movie the brand has created with Byrne, who has been the face of its campaigns for some time. Shot in a railway tunnel in central Sydney at night, its themes of obsession, jealousy and desire are patently (no handbag pun intended) obvious.
