MY STYLE MUSES are Jane Birkin and Cher in the 1970s.

MY SIGNATURE STYLE IS eclectic. I gather bits and pieces of traditional accessories from different cultures – like Navajo jewellery or Indian scarves – and tie these in with my favourite Australian and international labels. I’m also obsessed with early-mid 1900s women’s fashion and so my vintage collection spans all decades.

I STYLED MYSELF FOR SHOOT BY WORKING IN MY OWN PIECES. The Tigerlily pieces speak for themselves with all the gorgeous prints and embellishments on swimsuits so I didn’t need to do much at all. I added my own favourite jewellery, particularly an amber necklace I got on my travels in Morroco and my favourite Pamela love skull necklace. A few hats are in the mix too.

I also love headscarves which I use in many ways: as a belt, top, hair tie, you name it.

MY NEWEST CREATIVE OUTLET IS FILM PHOTOGRAPHY as [feature on my website] 35mimimeter, but my number 1 inspiration and outlet is still dancing. I love the freedom I feel when I move and the emotional and creative release. I also paint sometimes but just for fun. Mixing colours and splashing them about feels very meditative. I also enjoy drawing a lot of designs for dresses and clothing, again just for fun.

I LOVE TO TRAVEL BECAUSE I feel like one of the most important things to me in life is to see and experience many of the worlds vast cultures, histories and landscapes. After all, it is the world we live in and I love to be out of my comfort zone. On top of that, I find that I gather creative inspiration whilst travelling.

MY ULTIMATE DESTINATION IS Egypt because it’s next on my list. I can’t wait to go visit my grandparents who I haven’t seen since I was last there 12 years ago. I’m excited to go wandering around the temples and historical sites.

WHEN IT COMES TO MY HEALTH I swear by a whole foods diet. That means foods in their whole and natural state, cooked however you like. I don’t consume any processed foods or refined sugars. I no longer have any other dietary requirements, as I travel so much and love to enjoy the foods of different cultures without having to be restricted.

I’M OFTEN AS FOR MY FITNESS MANTRA. I grew up dancing almost every day, so for me, it’s very important to just get up and moving on the daily. Whether it’s dancing, walking, running, yoga, swimming laps at icebergs, boxing or going to the gym. I like to change it up to keep myself motivated. That said, I have a few favourite YouTube workouts that I like to do every day.

MY FOUR FAVOURITE BEACHES ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD ARE BONDI BEACH (Sydney) because I live here, so I would be lying if I didn’t say I love it. Mornings there are spent boxing, running, swimming and it has the best cafes. CASTLE ROCK (Sydney) is a beat little, hidden spot. It’s tucked away along the Manly National Park walk and there’s an ice cream boat. LITTLE WATEGOS (Byron Bay) has the best sunset in Byron. SARAKINIKO (Milos, Greece) is like you’re on the moon: glittery white bouldering rocks meet the edge of the turquoise blue Mediterranean Sea.

MY FAVOURITE MUSICAL FESTIVAL IS is hard to say. I have been to a lot over the last few years and they have all been so different, from the watery wonderlands of Symbiosis to the dusty dance floors of Burning Man. From out-of-this-world art installations to mind-boggling sound systems, every festival has its own charm. I’m going to count Burning Man out as a ‘music festival’ so I’d have to say on an international scale, Glastonbury takes the cake: healing fields, winding forests, trap doors, flame throwing stages, workshops and delicious foods are just a few of its many facets. I’m currently en route to Rainbow Serpent in Victoria so I’ll have to report back. So far, the vibe, music, silliness and swimming of Subsonic wins in Australia.

THE PIECES I LOVED MOST FROM THIS SHOOT FOR TIGERLILY WERE the red and white stripe Elissa bikini, wrap white Aztec print hand loom Driftwood skirt, the knit blue body-con dress (Presidio) and the olive-green terry Sierra bikini.

THE OTHER PROJECTS I’M WORKING ON FOR 2018 include being an ambassador for PLAN International, a children’s organisation currently focusing on young women and discrimination. I’m also working creatively alongside Adidas to create and curate content for them throughout the year.

After three years of travelling and living abroad, this year I’m focusing on getting grounded, feeling close to home and spending time with my family and close friends.
