Melbourne-born musician Olivia Bartley will join the Falls Festival lineup, and has described herself as being “like a Bollywood film with the saturation turned a little bit down”

Angus Stone’s new musical project Dope Lemon, guaranteed party starters Northeast Party House and producer/DJ wunderkind KLP spearhead a strong (mostly Australian) contingent of 29 acts who’ve been added to the East Coast legs of the 2016 Falls Festival.
Joining a line-up boasting the likes of Childish Gambino, London Grammar, The Avalanches, Violent Soho, Matt Corby and Alison Wonderland are a fresh crop of largely local acts who will cut their teeth on the Falls stages in Byron Bay, Lorne and Marion Bay, including promising indie-pop trio The Middle Kids, electronic producer Kilter and vivacious 17-year-old Mallrat. More established Australian acts will also get in on the game, with You Am I, Kingswood and ex-Powderfinger guitarist Darren Middleton also joining the bill.
Falls Festival in Lorne and Byron Bay are sold out, but tickets for Marion Bay are on sale now via Falls Festival. Local Tasmanian retail tickets are also on sale now. More acts for Falls Downtown in Freemantle, Western Australia, will be announced shortly.
