Tickets for certain legs of Falls Festival, headlined by Childish Gambino, may have sold out this morning but those left bereft need not fear death by FOMO after the announcement that Gambino and Chance The Rapper will headline the lineup for Field Day 2017.

The 16th annual New Year’s Day festival held in Sydney’s Domain features a number of international artists also appearing on the mammoth Falls bill, including AlunaGeorge, MØ, Booka Shade and Broods; there’s a good deal of local crossover too, with Australian artists Alison Wonderland, Client Liaison and Tkay Maidza doing double duties.

Chance and Gambino have previously collaborated on an as-yet unreleased mixtape, as well featuring on each other’s critically-acclaimed albums, 2016’s brilliant The Colouring Book and Because The Internet respectively. This coming weekend, Gambino will also debut his new album PHAROS at a series of live performances at Joshua Tree, California.

Tickets for Field Day go on sale September 1 at 12pm AEST. You can find out more information here and read the full lineup below.
