Good news for FKA Twigs fans this morning, the British chameleon has announced she will release a compilation of seven self-directed short films as one 52 minute visual titled Soundtrack 7. Last year, the 28-year-old performed a seven-day residency at Manchester’s Old Granada Studios as part of Manchester International Festival. Here, she created and filmed a new dance piece each day and these will form the basis for the visual which will premiere on August 3 at the Brooklyn Academy of Music.

Like the real queen of surprise album drops, Beyoncé, Soundtrack 7 will be autobiographical and include performances set to her singles How’s That, UltraViolet and this year’s Good to Love. No word if debut hit Two Weeks will be included but here’s hoping. But if her new tracks and tribal-like choreography is anything to go by – or her Baltimore public dance class – we’ll lose our minds like that Russian arena.
