Wonder Woman (read: Gal Gadot) hosted the second episode of the 43rd season of Saturday Night Live overnight and from all critic’s reports, she didn’t disappoint at all in the comedy stakes. Zeroing in on timely targets like Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid, Gadot simultaneously impersonated both models in a skit based on a faux reality TV show titled Model House. Jenner, Hadid and Bella Hadid (played by Kate McKinnon) are vapidly “sitting around a fruit bowl” talking about who is prettier before Jenner remarks, “Wait, which one am I?”
Perhaps the most talked-about satire of the night though was Gadot’s blind date with newly-released inmate O.J. Simpson. The actress plays a none-the-wiser woman who meets the former athlete (played by Kenan Thompson) on Bumble and the pair go on a dinner date. The night hilariously is filled with a waiter who serves Simpson’s stake with a plastic knife and Gadot receiving a manic amount of phone calls from friends trying to warn her of Simpson’s past. Gadot will return to the silver screen this November as Diana Prince in Justice League.
