Victoria’s Secret 2018
Heavenly. World Famous. Iconic. The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show is the biggest, most-coveted runway in the world. Over one billion people across the globe tune in to watch the lingerie spectacle, the largest number of viewers attached to a fashion event of any sort.
It came as a surprise then last when both Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner didn’t renew their wings scholarship in Shanghai. The former was denied a Chinese visa after the local government ruled one of Hadid’s Instagram posts as racially offensive. Jenner could not walk in the same show either given prior contractual agreements with lingerie brand La Perla. Nevertheless the powerful duo – who both walked the VS runway in 2015 and 2016 and collectively boast with over 140 million Instagram followers – have been confirmed to walk the 2018 Victoria’s Secret runway as it returns home to New York City.
Brian Atwood – the show’s shoe designer – broke the news on social media to ecstatic fans. Other models secured include Sara Sampaio, Elsa Hosk, Josephine Skriver and GRAZIA cover girl Winnie Harlow who will be making her debut. London-based designer Mary Katrantzou will be collaborating on a capsule collection for the show while Charlotte Tilbury is the official beauty partner.
Much more to come.
