Gigi Hadid has taken the unusual step of responding to an Instagram troll.
As someone in the public eye who’s active on social media, the model must receive hundreds of cruel comments every day. But a comment posted by one user, accusing her of faking her relationship with Zayn Malik, clearly got under her skin.
“Please stop … it’s just negative,” Gigi replied, according to E! News.
“I really have no hard feelings towards you, I just know what a beautiful world there is to go out and live in instead of trying to dissect a relationship between two people that you don’t even know and that you do not see 99% of.”
The antagonistic user claimed that Zayn not following Gigi on Instagram was proof.
“For someone who is virtually inactive on the app, I don’t need his follow … my eyes are tattooed to his chest,” she hit back, referring to Zayn’s ink of her eyes.
“The energy you put into this does not serve your life in any way, kids…. There’s nothing to figure out all the time… give it a break.”
The couple reunited last month following their March split after two years together, confirming they were back together with, of course, a selfie.
