When it comes to tracking beauty movements, there is often a moment in time when you can pinpoint it’s birth. Deny it all you want, but Kim Kardashian brought contouring out of the studio, off the stage and into the mainstream via that very first selfie tracking the face-shaping technique. Cara Delevingne inspired women everywhere to ditch the tweezers, instantly igniting a bushy brow movement when she first walked for Burberry in 2011. And many will argue that it was Gigi Hadid who prompted a fresh highlighter appreciation when she showed up to Maybelline’s 100-year party in June last year looking more glowing than ever. Suddenly ‘strobing’ was part of the beauty vernacular and when you Googled the word, Hadid’s light-catching face was the first image that popped up. Now, just over a year later and Hadid has us wanting to amp-up the highlighter once again.

Illuminating her cheekbones, brow bone, nose and cupid’s bow, Hadid lit up Los Angeles International Airport, flanked by boyfriend Zayn Malik. Helping to pop her skin even further was her pulled back plait.
