We’re already big believers here at GRAZIA that Australia’s best fashion designers are as talented as any of the big-names international labels. Still, it’s always nice to see style-savvy celebrities vote with their public wardrobes to prove they agree.

The latest on-street showcase? Gigi Hadid stepping out in a pair of perfectly casual blush-tone cropped pants from Manning Cartell’s Spring/Summer 2017 collection. Called About a Girl, the high-waisted cropped cargo style isn’t yet available, which makes Gigi’s decision to don them for this year’s Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show fitting appointment all the more poignant.

The supermodel, whose off-duty style is now dissected on a global level as much as her on-runway looks, also wore a bra top from Jonathan Simkhai’s Autumn/Winter 2016 range. Given that it’s now two full seasons old, we can only presume it’s a wardrobe staple Hadid’s kept on hand for circumstances precisely like this.

On the upside though, the Stuart Weitzman Mulearky slides are currently available in Australia at David Jones. (Gigi is currently the global face of the luxury shoe brand.)

While the Satin Beige version she wore in New York is now sold out, you can still shop the style in this stunning Naked Suede for $755, as well as gold and black. This is one supermodel who has laid-back international dressing down to a fine art.
