In fact, Lauren Graham, who plays Lorelai, has announced the news with a special message to you all, complete with a speed talking warning.
The popular series – which garnered 22 awards including a Golden Globe nomination – hit our screen in 2000 and for seven years, the drama told the story of young thirty-something mother Lorelai and her relationship with her teenage daughter, Rory in the small town of Stars Hollow, Connecticut.
