Touch downs are happening on both ends of the field for team Bündchen-Brady. The equally athletic and fashionable couple are trading their football jerseys for ball gowns as they announced their appointment as co-chairs of the 2017 Met Gala today.
The husband and wife duo have ascended the steps of the Metropolitan Museum of Art together in stunning fashion since 2008. According to People, Katy Perry, Pharrell Williams and (U.S. ambassador to Japan and daughter of the late J. F. Kennedy) Caroline Kennedy will also join Bündchen and Brady as co-hosts of the evening which this year is paying tribute to the work of Japanese-born designer Rei Kawakubo of Comme des Garçons. The exhibition will feature 120 pieces of Kawakubo’s womenswear dating back to her first Paris runway show in 1981. Revealing to the public on May 4, the show will the first to focus on a living designer since it’s Yves Saint Laurent in 1983.
