Of course Gwyneth Paltrow’s chose to stay in a seven bedroom villa with an obscenely chic pool and wine cellar during her brief jaunt to Cannes for the Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity this week.
Villa Taboo – of course that’s what it’s called – is the salubrious name of the $40 million contemporary manse that Gwyn chose to practice the art of living in while visiting the Côte d’Azur, where she appeared at the international advertising festival in conversation with Stephen Sackur as part of a live recording of BBC’s HARDTalk.
For the curious at heart, Villa Taboo retails at a very chill $13,355 a night.
She stayed there courtesy of Airbnb, of course, before jetting off to London to have lunch with Michael Kors and Jessica Chastain.
Of course she did. Visit the listing here to book your next sojourn, or more realistically take a tour below. It’s free to dream.
